Global Geophysical Services, Inc. provides an integrated suite of geoscience solutions to the international oil and gas industry including high-resolution Reservoir Grade™ seismic data acquisition, multi-client data products, microseismic monitoring, seismic data processing, analysis, and interpretation services, and unconventional consulting. Global combines experience, innovation operational safety, and environmental responsibility with cutting edge geophysical technology to facilitate successful E&P execution. Global entered the seismic industry in 2005, launching four seismic crews and staffing 250 full-time employees during the inaugural year of operation. With numerous highly productive crews deployed worldwide, Global now owns and operates one of the industry’s most comprehensive inventories of seismic equipment and employs many of the most dedicated seismic professionals in the business.

While we continue to add crews to meet the demands of the marketplace, we do not intend to be the biggest seismic contractor – just the best. Global E&P Services provides unrivalled seismic data processing, analysis, interpretation, and data integration capabilities to the energy industry. Headed by a team of proven oil-finders (over half a billion BOE discovered for clients), we have a number of proprietary and patented technologies that are ideal for processing and analyzing the full offset, rich azimuth, Reservoir Grade 3D datasets that our field crews collect. Our industry leading technologies for characterizing azimuthal anisotropy coupled with our advanced time and depth imaging capabilities give us the ability to extract a rich portfolio of rock properties and reservoir characteristics from seismic data volumes. We have recently expanded our high performance computing hub in Houston, as well as our data processing centers in Dallas and Denver, by installing infrastructure that allows our geoscientists to access data from anywhere in the world via Global’s internal “data cloud.” This performance upgrade allows us to accelerate the delivery of our advanced product and service offerings by supporting seamless interaction with the data across the data processing, analysis, and consulting domains. Quite simply, this means we spend more time understanding your data and addressing geologic and geophysical challenges and less time moving and reformatting data.

Sensor Geophysical Overview

Sensor Geophysical is a Canadian geoscience technology company that provides customized reservoir imaging and characterization solutions to the petroleum industry, and hardrock seismic imaging services to the mining industry.

Incorporated in Calgary in 1994, Sensor Geophysical is a privately owned company that is actively engaged in proprietary research and development.

Sensor Geophysical specializes in processing 2D, 3D, 4D and Multicomponent seismic data, including data recorded with the latest generation of digital sensors: INPUT/OUTPUT’s “VectorSeis” and SERCEL’s “DSU”. In addition Sensor offers Multicomponent Interpretation support using Hampson-Russell’s ProMC software.

Sensor Geophysical also processes two-component and four-component ocean-bottom cable (OBC) data, which requires the effective combination of hydrophone and geophone records in order to reduce the receiver ghost and water-layer reverberation sequence on the seismic data.

Sensor Geophysical also specializes in providing Reservoir Geophysics Services , which include PP and PS AVO Modeling, AVO and LMR Analysis, Seismic Inversion, Seismic Facies Classification, PP-PS Registration and Joint Inversion, Spectral Decomposition and Fracture Detection Analysis. For generating AVO compliant gathers Sensor has developed a specialized flow using proprietary software to address scaling and noise issues. Sensor has domestic and international experience in complex geological environments requiring high resolution imaging for both structural and stratigraphic objectives within clastics, carbonates and heavy oil prospects.

Amazingly productive, unbelievably simple, totally scalable, with no interconnecting cables or complex radio links between nodes, the AutoSeis HDR is a clear breakthrough in terms of crew productivity, data quality and reduced HSEQ risk.

The unit’s simplicity eliminates the learning curve often associated with more complicated nodal systems and energy companies worldwide have increasingly adopted the system for their programs. AutoSeis HDR units have proven successful in diverse environments and terrains across the globe including desert, arctic, mountain range, heavily-canopied forest, farmland and urban environments.

The technological advantages offered by the AutoSeis HDR have routinely allowed for program deployments in excess of 20,000 units, with no established upper limit on scalability. The trend to higher receiver density and increased channel count nodal programs is expected to continue as energy companies seek improvement in seismic data resolution, making AutoSeis the clear choice.
